Another weekend in the garage and some more progress is made. Got my replacement trim that was keeping from putting the passenger side fender late Friday afternoon. So spent the weekend getting the fender and grille back into the truck. The grille and bumper were a little stubborn about going back together but eventually got in and bolted down. Started fitting the cowl and the fact this was a no radio truck from the factory rear its ugly head again as the previous owners had put a cheap radio and antenna in the truck but cut the hole in the cowl in the wrong location, so that a factory antenna will not fit. We tried cutting the bezel down to make it fit but was still having issues, but it could work. So I went through my parts catalogs and it looks like a 68/69 Chevelle Rear antenna bezel looked almost identical to what our cut up piece looked like, so ordered that bezel and the hardware that attaches it and see if that is the ticket to getting the antenna in the truck.
The to do list is getting shorter, need to still paint the inner fenders and the underside of the hood and put the trim on that. Also have new lowering springs I need to get in before the inner fenders. Next week new tires are going to be ordered that I think will really make the truck pop. Hopefully by the end of September this truck is done for the most part.

It’s a real joy to watch this truck come together.

Nice work. I have really been enjoying watching this truck come together over a surprisingly short period of time.

Great work!
This is (by far) my favorite generation of C10.
